Seeking knowledge is a fundamental basis for developing innovations that benefit human life. This article aims to analyze the role of seeking knowledge in the development of food products, medicines, and health services from an Islamic perspective. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review of the Qur’an, books, scientific journal articles, and relevant official documents. The data were analyzed thematically through source identification, critical reading, information categorization, normative interpretation, and conceptual synthesis. The findings indicate that scientific knowledge underpins the development of food products that are safe, nutritious, high-quality, halal, and tayyib; medicines that meet quality, safety, and efficacy requirements; and health services that prioritize patient safety, justice, and respect for human dignity. The Islamic perspective reinforces these principles through the values of trustworthiness, responsibility, and hifz al-nafs within the framework of maqashid al-sharia. Therefore, seeking knowledge should be directed toward ethical, responsible, and socially beneficial innovation.
