Abstract

This study aims to analyze the conceptual relevance of interreligious harmony in strengthening collaboration among health sciences students. It employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method. Data were collected from academic literature, policy documents, and international organizational publications concerning religious moderation, interprofessional education, and healthcare collaboration. The data were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively through data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that interreligious harmony is conceptually relevant to the development of collaborative competencies among health sciences students, particularly in fostering inclusive attitudes, open communication, respect for differences, and teamwork oriented toward the interests of patients and communities. Four indicators of religious moderation, namely tolerance, national commitment, non-violence, and accommodation of local culture, can be conceptually mapped onto four domains of interprofessional collaboration competencies: values and ethics, roles and responsibilities, interprofessional communication, and teams and teamwork. This study concludes that interreligious harmony has the potential to serve as a value-based foundation for developing inclusive and collaborative health education. However, the proposed conceptual framework requires further empirical testing to assess its validity and applicability in educational practice.
