Financial literacy is an important factor influencing the quality of household investment decision-making in East Java. This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy on household investment decisions, including understanding of financial concepts, financial planning, and risk awareness. Using a quantitative approach with a survey method, data were collected from 320 household heads in four districts of East Java through structured questionnaires. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and classical assumption tests. The results indicate that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on household investment decisions (β = 0.423; p < 0.001). The sub-dimensions of investment product knowledge, long-term financial planning, and risk tolerance partially show significant effects on investment decisions. The study concludes that improving public financial literacy through sustainable financial education programs can promote more rational, productive, and long-term oriented investment behavior at the household level.
